Overview
The mission of the Engineering Association (www.engineeringassociation.am) is to strengthen the Engineering Profession in Armenia and to strengthen Armenia’s Engineering position in the world.
To this end, the Engineering Association has initiated the Engineering City Education Program.
The program relies on the initiative and enthusiasm of individuals, and it is managed in large part by volunteers.
In order to sustain the program, we seek your support.
1. University Engineering Education Program
The Engineering Association in collaboration with the Polytechnic University and the Engineering City announced the establishment of an industry-based education department. The Department of “Electronics Devices & Measurement Systems” (www.ecpolytech.am/en/) of the Yerevan Polytechnic University is an industry-based department where the students spend part of their time in the Engineering City (www.engineeringcity.am). It is a joint initiative with the purpose of introducing new engineering specializations that mirror the latest trends in the industry.
The program combines traditional education with industry-based education. The courses and the curriculums have been jointly designed & developed by representatives of the Industry and the Polytechnic.
